The Del Norte Chamber of Commerce plays a role, in supporting and showcasing businesses, agriculture, and tourism. They also take charge of organizing community gatherings such as the Covered Wagon Days. This annual event holds a place in Del Norte’s calendar commemorating the towns heritage through a range of activities like a quilt exhibition shared meals, a fundraiser pig roast for veterans, a lively parade and additional festivities running from August 5, to August 8.
