The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce is a 501c6 membership organization that aims to promote economic growth and development, enhance the quality of life, and preserve the unique character of the Batesville area. The Chamber offers several amazing benefits to its members. One is the Gift Certificate Program, which promotes shopping locally and increases business recognition. The Chamber also sends a weekly e-blast to over 1,200 contacts and shares Facebook posts with over 1,000 followers. Members can also avail themselves of advertising opportunities by sponsoring Chamber events.

The Batesville Area Chamber of Commerce hosts several local events throughout the year. The Chamber Holiday Passport Promotion is a popular event where participants can pick up their Holiday Shopping Passport at the Chamber office or any participating business. Every time they spend $10, they earn a stamp on their passport, and after collecting 20 stamps, they can enter to win a grand prize. The Batesville Community Tree Lighting and Chamber Holiday Parade is another popular event held every year in December. The festivities begin throughout downtown Batesville, and the parade features floats, bands, and Santa Claus.
